My P&C journey began in 2015 as a member of the Newton Primary School P&C and I have been a Coogee Primary School P&C member since 2018.

Being on two committees simultaneously gave me valuable insights and a broader perspective on the challenges and issues faced by different P&Cs. As a result, I have developed a deeper understanding of the unique issues P&Cs encounter while recognising their common struggles. I have learnt the importance of collaboration, information sharing, and support among P&C organisations, which has allowed me to grasp the bigger picture and appreciate the diversity of challenges faced.

After a nineteen-year policing career, I earned my Bachelor of Arts degree in Writing, Editing, and Children’s Literature and have been the State Manager for a Melbourne-based Furniture Company since 2010.

As a State Councillor, I aim to draw on my deep experience to actively contribute to developing improved solutions and strategies for P&Cs. I also look forward to helping committees enhance their capabilities and address their challenges effectively while strengthening the overall resilience of the P&C community.
