Hi, I’m Daliah Moss, your North West Representative, based in Broome. With a background in Community Health and Education, I have been involved with Cable Beach Primary School P&C since 2020, serving as President in 2021 and 2022 and as a busy canteen coordinator the rest of the time.  Believing that a good canteen service providing nutritious and affordable food is helps our school community to thrive, we have managed to turn our canteen operations around and now provide a successful small enterprise which makes a small profit without increasing most of our prices since 2020.

I put up my hand to represent the North West region because there has been no representation or voice for this region on WACSSO State Council for a few years, with very few P&C delegates attending the last few Conferences, despite the support available to do so.  I hope to contact each P&C in the region to hear and learn of your issues and represent your voice appropriately at WACSSO.  I also hope to encourage greater participation in the annual Conference, where much helpful information is available and shared.

As a fairly busy grandmother of 2 children at Cable Beach Primary, I think I may be trying to make up for not being able to volunteer much during my daughter’s school years when my work required a great deal of international travel.

I look forward to meeting the affiliates of the North West region, learning more about your P&Cs and representing our electorate on Council.
